Keep in mind it is not an exact science, Enid and Grenada were actually mapped in two different years, one closer to winter pool and the other at 2 foot above summer pool on Grenada, not sure how high Enid was when it was finished.

It’s so easy to set when you get on the water. If you know the lake level the first time you adjust your unit, all you have to do is adjust to the current level from there. Problem solved.

I would also get a little nervous about siltation from the original to now.

Seeing some of that for sure but the changes in Scuna and Yalobusha rivers are worse and really bad in Turkey Creek. Lot of water travels these water ways and all three change a good bit each year.

No way I would trust setting the offset based on survey level and current lake level. Aint no way they surveyed the whole lake in one day. I think you will be somewhere in the ball park but a foot or two when the lake is at lower levels could mean a new lower unit.

I’ve set the offset on the skuna side, and had to reset it on the Yalabusha side. They are off by a few feet now.

I lost a lower unit in the middle of Nader couple years ago. Wasn’t due to water levels tho..... something underwater tight out in the middle, prob a log
