got on the water shortly after daylite. fished till 2. i don't often fish the welfair hole but after a big rain and they open the spillway gates the fish will stack up there just out of the current on the river ledge. i checked the spillway website before i went to bed and all the gates were wide open and im thinking its going to be on. well when i got there NO MOVING WATER, they had shut em down during the nite. did not get a single bite. talked with eight others same thing. it looked like a mudhole trash and debris everywhere. bout par for the course for me.
