Yes sir, 3s are rare but I do use them when deep and moving at .8 or so. I have 3/8, 1/2, 1, 1.5, 2s and 3s handy all the time. Last time I was on the water I was using 3/8 and wishing I had 1/4s, bite was lite and slow.
