    Question Grenada Lake boating rules


    I have a 16' bomber with a 65hp outboard and a standard outboard fuel tank. What am I required to be legal on Grenada lake. I know each person must wear a PDF. No alcohol.
    The daily creel limit for crappie is 15 per person. Crappie must be over 12 inches. Anglers may use no more than 4 poles per person and no more than 2 hooks or lures per pole. There is a 40 crappie per boat limit for boats with 3 or more anglers.
    Is there anything else?

    Fire Extinguisher, noise making device (whistle), throwable life ring on a 16 foot or better I was told. Also, anyone in the vessel must be licensed if there is any fishing gear in the boat regardless if they fish or not, unless 16 or younger or 62 or older, I believe it is.

    Most likely, the rangers / COE will be the ones to ask for the others usually. MDWFP is pretty straight forward on license, registration, game rules and regs etc. Not sure, just keep it legal and won't have any worries from either. All a good bunch from my run ins

    I found this with google.
    Is a fire extinguisher required on a boat?
    One B-I type approved hand portable fire extinguisher. (Not required on outboard motorboats less than 26 ft in length if the construction of the motorboat is such that it does not permit the entrapment of explosive or flammable gases or vapors, and if fuel tanks are not permanently installed.)

    16 FT. WATERCRAFT MUST HAVE :THROW ABLE -YES . FIRE EXTINGUISHER-YES . LIFE VEST FOR EACH - YES . ANYONE UNDER 12 MUST WEAR AT "ALL" TIMES. BORN AFTER JUNE 30 1980 MUST HAVE WATER OPERATORS PERMIT .(IF OPERATING BOAT)
