    Default Grenada Question

Got a question for all of you regular Grenada goer's. I have only fished Grenada a handful of times but would like to come up and fish before the end of the year. I see that the water level is dropping pretty quick on a daily basis. At what level can you no longer get in an out of the lake and where would be the best place to launch if I could get in?

You can use the main boat ramp when the water level is on 195 ft. There is a shallow channel about 50 yards from the ramp that will be only about 2 feet deep. I have gone through it with the big motor tilted up. The shallow water channel is not very long before you can let the motor down.

Grenada landing is about it unless u wanna fish a small stretch of river. Grenada landing is in pretty skinny water right now. Sooner u get there the easier it will be

from some reports i saw on facebook I would not even consider it right now if you have a glass boat, however my best day ever came about mid december when most boats could not get in the lake, I took a 16 foot aluminum boat and my best 7 that day went over 16 pounds. I have never had another day quite like that.

Don't know how far you're coming, but if you can, I would wait til Mar 15 - April 15.. It's a tough place to fish in Dec and Jan.

Thanks for the info. I will not be able to get up that way until about a week before Christmas. Sounds like it will be very difficult to get into by then for sure.

Don't think there are any usable ramps at Enid as of today, but I may be wrong. A friend of mine struggled to load his boat up Sunday at McCurdy.
