    Erin, If the North wind is pretty stiff, put in McCurdy like Snubbys said. Wallace Creek ramp with a North wind is mean to load back up! Loading in a crosswind is no fun!

    Yea I was looking at in on the computer and it looks like a north wind could be pretty rough at Wallace creek.

    No doubt armyman, cross winds can be a little difficult, just another option cause I'm sure McCurdy be packed full. I launch in rivers and spillways all the time so I don't concern myself with a cross wind / current as much as I do a direct tailwind... course I tend to stray outside the box every now and again!
