Agree with all that's been said about advantages of braid. I use 30/8 Depth Hunter and almost never lose a bait. Just make sure your snap swivel is rated higher than the line rating or that will be your break point. I do buy a lot of replacement treble hooks. ��

The 30/8 runs about 10% deeper than the 10 lb mono charts.
