Mono vs Braid

Yes, don't waste a lot of time trying to get the tangle out just cut it off and re-tie.

I use 20 lb. braid exclusively but I tie on a 25 ft. section of lead core at the terminal end.

The lead core throws the trolling charts off but you can cUT down, dramatically, the amount of line you let out when they start suspending at max depths.

I even used it long lining some. It's different, but you can feel em fart on it.

I'm a mono guy myself. Everything is clear 10# stren.
