B & M has a new pole coming out for power trolling with heavy weights. Pro Staffers have prototypes now and say they will be available late summer early fall. B & M wouldn't give an available date last week. I'm getting to try a couple a friend has on hand, ready to put them to the test.

2's are way better. Doesn't load up the pole as bad. 3's will work, but the rod bow is to much for me. I use a different rod for 3 and 4 oz weights. I'll be glad when BnM releases their stiffer power trolling/pushing rods so I can get a set and get rid of my Tightline Specials.

14's, 16's, and 18's. Talked to Kent Driscoll this morning. Approximate end of August availability. Getting a 16 to test drive.

Got to try the new B & M Power Trolling rods yesterday. These were 18' pushing 3oz weights with 300 bandits at 1.5 to 2.0mph. They are a little heavier that my PST's but my PST's are 16' these are 18's.

I was impressed, got a set ordered!
