I fish a state lake not too far from the house which has quite a few good fish in it, but most folks don't catch them... Wish I lived closer to some of them further north too!

Clear line and cloudy days and the bite is awesome. Next time you get ready leave the promised land to go to kemper, holler at me. I've got hundreds of coordinates with a fee dozen that always produce. Once spot has always been exceptional at night.

Once the sun gets overhead, the specks bury up deep in those tops.

I'm anxious to try my new bullet bobber planer boards out there. With 16 foot poles, I can bump brush tops with a Kentucky rig and catch up to a half dozen fish before they shut off from getting spooked. I have to move on to another top thereafter.I'm hoping the planer boarts will allow me to pick off a larger # of active fish that are suspended above the tops early morning without spooking them.

It's about to get the time of year where I change all my rigs over to "kemper lake" with clear flouro leaders. That's the only thing about the place that I don't like: gotta change my whole setup.
