That net is not flimsy..light weight......I don't know how many of the people cutting it down have actually fished with one.. I have landed 2.5 lb. fish with no problem what so ever..I am not on a Pro Staff, and could care less what anyone uses...This is a new product....Mine does what I expected it to do. ...Titanium is lighter, stronger than the aluminum net of the same strength...I would say try one before you decide...
Not cutting it down just stating facts and locs to prove my point. In my rig it has no place, no way it would have done what I did yesterday with my Crappy Master net.Quote:

Agreed g,but for me when you fish weighs more than your net I don't want one.I haven't handled a jenko net so I really know nothing about it,but I do know 3-4 people that have bought them and they have had trouble with them and that's what I basing my opinion on.[emoji3]Quote:

I recently got the EGO2 Slider it works well for me so far, it is a bit heavy but not awkward to me. I was originally using a 5 foot frabil rubber net with a redneck extension, so it's a big improvement especially when I'm solo.

I like my heartier Crappie Masters Nets. They do seem to weigh more but it's like a fulcrum and lever. The longer the lever (13'4" with the CM net fully extended), the heavier it seems because of the leverage it gives. It is a two handed net when fully extended and for guides, tourney fishermen, and fishing with two guys it's The Best in the Business. I only extend mine out to the first hole when alone, and let out more line and get the fish closer to the boat.
LET OUT LINE, not reel em up to get the fish closer to the boat with a long pole!!!!

that cm net is like using backhoe arm to scoop one up. maybe a tad heavier!
She's heavy alright but she's stout, had a 10 lb white river on the end of a 14 foot pole with 2 foot of line out the other day and was proud to have my heavy stout net, didn't tear anything up.Quote:

I like the one brm sells for spider rigging because it's sturdy and reaches far and I use it longlining also when me and Will are fishing together, but when by myself I use a little 3' handle net I got from Walmart
