Speaking from many many bad trips with worn out or DRY Rotted tire!!!!! Buy tandem axle trailers only and BUT Great tires 8 ply if you can find them to fit!!!! Have REAL boat and trailer insurance !! You were Blessed in NOT tearing your boat up. The tandem trailers allow you to PULL trailer over a small ramp or 4x4 and easily change a flat.
