Well, my old phone wouldn't send pictures to my email, didn't have internet on the phone worth a crap. New phone I can send to my email, trying to transfer them to websites isn't working.

Just think, a few years back we didn't have internet or cell phones. We went fishing, if we had a good catch someone might get a picture with a camera. May take a few days or weeks before you got to see the pictures. Most of our times on camp/fish trips, where's the camera? At home.

I don't know for sure but I can take a pretty good guess at most that sent you PM's. And before you start indirectly putting these guys down, they catch plenty of fish. But their heart burn comes from the fact that they with out looking for a bunch of press and pats on the back spend 100's of hours gathering materials, staging materials, building stake beds and structure all over that lake. This group of guys has been doing it some of them for 20 years or more. They have no problem with posting pictures, it's naming the lake and for those of you who don't believe it affect the lake don't remember 5 years ago when we had low water, fish were congregated like they are now and we're just slautered. Then everyone was screaming we were raping the lake, close the ramps, create seasons.
Here is my take, catch your fish, have a good time, take pictures on your tail gate, tell how you caught them if you want. Then let board members Pm you if they want details. Share what ever info you are comfortable sharing. End result is you did good, you shared the experience, we got to share in that experience. But it wasn't shared with the whole world who don't belong to CDC, have no intention of joining or participating in CDC just glean all the info you share to your detriment down the road.
Exactly, Cray...well said
What cray said. I learned my lesson when I shared some info about a good duck hole with what I thought was a friend. Every time I went after that there was someone in it.
To the OP, I've had similar experiences. Mr. Green Jeans stopped me at the boat ramp and asked if I had any luck. I told him I didn't catch a fish. He didn't believe me either and still checked my boat. :Rofl
