DARN!!! Don't tell me that...I want to believe the Park Ranger... Oh well, even if he exaggerated, just dreaming of a 5lb water monster on the end of my 6lb Stren makes me smile... :)

The reason I haven't posted much on the forums the last couple years. I still stop by now and then to see how things are going but then I don't want to stick around too much and fall into the "troll" category lol. When the forums first got going it was a good place to share and a lot of compliments, stories, helpful ideas, etc were freely shared. Now it's just not as enjoyable.
RDG, I think that Ranger may have been trying to drum up some business when he told you about those5lb. crappie. You did have a good catch though. Keep after em.
All im saying is nobody ever got mad when he would post a pic of his one fish.
Tracker is a fine fella I can tell you that a lot of fine folks quit posting great guys and great fisherman hope they all come back one day
And wannabe is "UGLY" !!!
At the end of the day, I do what makes me happy and my heart feel good. Trying to lead a life worrying about what everyone else thought or trying to please everyone would certainly lead to a lot of misery. I've been in management 35 years and I tell my employees very simple rules. Just do the right thing even when there's no policy or someone looking over your shoulder. Don't worry about what the next person's doing. Integrity first and foremost and treat others the way you'd like to be treated. Nothing new and I know that's deep! :) Fishing is a sport. Ain't nothing to get all stressed over. Enjoy the outdoors! Last thing I'd do is allow someone on a forum that I don't even know get under my skin. Post or don't post. Be happy!
