I don't disagree. But the way I was taught is there is plenty other water to fish in. Now if somebody leaves a spot it's different

Plenty of A-holes on the lake just like everywhere else. I was catching fish in between a few trees one year and this guy came in and tied his boat to the tree 5 yards from me. I said something to him and he was like "I recogn there's enough fish for all of us". I just moved. About had my limit anyway. Had another guy do pretty much the same thing except he couldn't get where my honey hole was. Well, it didn't take me long to catch the limit so I told him I had to leave and go ahead an move over but don't tell anyone. I hadn't gone 20 yards and he was on his phone calling his buddies to come over. On that same note, all those boats congregated in the same areas at Sardis trolling is about the same thing. One boat starts out, here comes another and another and another. As far as markers go, I'd suggest tossing them out not on the exact spot. Maybe 15-20 yards either way in one direction or the other.

Remote detonating marker buoys would be my next suggestion then, Lol.

Did this two more times and started getting poles out and in the holders. I had drifted off a bit and when I looked back at my last marker some guy was heading straight to it. Before I got there he had caught three fish off of it. So I headed to the second and didn't think anything of it. Well here he comes Trolling motor wide open right beside me headed to my third marker. So I turned around and asked him if he was catching anything. He says well that was the first three I caught today and proceeded to go stop on my last marker and catch two fish there. Well I was kinda ticked at this point. I had no clue who he was. So I troll on back to the first marker and there he goes to the one i just left. I finally turned around and said out loud that I felt like it was pretty crappy and he says he is just following an old creek run. Well there ain't no creek run there. So I just picked up my markers and left. What would you guys have done? Am I wrong to be just a little pissed about it?

Exactly why I don't use markers. I always mark places on my phone on Navionics or just try to line them up with something familiar on the bank. I can't stand somebody that will crowd you. Even on Ross Barnett when I am following the river channel and I come up on another boat that is on the ledge I swing out way around them because that is what I would expect someone to do for me.
Another trick I have learned on Okatibee for when I find a stump right out in the middle of the lake and I am about to leave and want my dad to be able to come to it and fish after I leave is throw it 15-20 away from where stump actually is and tell him its due(north, south, east or west) of where I put it. I hate to be that way but there is a group of fisherman(every lake has them) that will just ride around and watch... when you start catching here they come. I had 2 boats watch me last week on Barnett fish for at least 5 minutes before they ever moved to get their poles when I caught a couple here they came. Nothing I can do but deal with it though.

Catch a fish in the welfare hole and see how long before the fleet catches wind. There are just too many ledges to have to crowd up on one. Just remember, the law isn't on your side if you let your temper get the best of you.
