You could be a little pissed, but unless you own the lake not a lot you can do without getting the law called on you!

So okatibee was extremely windy today and I decided to fish a spot where the bank blocked the wind. I trolled along and found some fish on the finder and threw out a marker. Did this two more times and started getting poles out and in the holders. I had drifted off a bit and when I looked back at my last marker some guy was heading straight to it. Before I got there he had caught three fish off of it. So I headed to the second and didn't think anything of it. Well here he comes Trolling motor wide open right beside me headed to my third marker. So I turned around and asked him if he was catching anything. He says well that was the first three I caught today and proceeded to go stop on my last marker and catch two fish there. Well I was kinda ticked at this point. I had no clue who he was. So I troll on back to the first marker and there he goes to the one i just left. I finally turned around and said out loud that I felt like it was pretty crappy and he says he is just following an old creek run. Well there ain't no creek run there. So I just picked up my markers and left. What would you guys have done? Am I wrong to be just a little pissed about it?

Rude and crude he was. I would have gone and got the first one, while he was fishing it. Shame on him.
that's why some of us set waypoints instead of markers....just sayin'
Might have a mean ole woman back out the house, threatening him if he don't come back with fish THIS time he ain't allowed to go backIf it's just one boat with one or two folks I would try to help them out or vice versa, unless they were just totally rude. And fishing another mans markers blatantly, without a word is just about as rude as you get.. just some of those people in the world, unfortunately

Hope he ain't got a gun because hit is about to hit the fan. Somebody gonna go to hospital or jail.
The problem is called respect. They are very little respect being taught today this was one of the first things that the older people taught when it came to hunting, fishing, and a respect for one another when I was young. You were lucky that they didn't pick up your buoys and leave as I have heard of this happening before. Some think well I found it out in the middle of the lake so now it's mine. I was taught if it don't belong to you keep your hands off of it. Well times are changing and one of Crappie.com's advertising sellers Arkie has this problem solved with these; Arkie stealth buoys They are small and unless you pretty well know where they are you can't see them from a very far distance.

Of course I would be upset. That same thing has happened to me before. Not much you can do about it. Just be a little sneaky and make steps to not show everything you do. I place markers on my holes and I place markers that mark nothing I always get the last laugh when folks are fishing nothing but a marker.
