Yeah I usually use the 3/4 oz for spider rigging too. I'm gonna have to get some of those 3oz'ers. A friend of mine has done really well pushing cranks, so have I. Perhaps with the right set-up we will do better! Will PST's hold up those 3oz weights? I have been using the Arkie cranks.

It won't do that much weight very well. It bows up too much. BnM is working on a new Power Trolling, Crank Pushing rod as we speak. Field testing has started from my understanding. This is reliable, but unconfirmed info tho.

This is correct! Some prototypes were sent to pro staff members late last summer for testing and feed back. I checked with B & M on availabity and was told they would be available in 2018 line up. I think their line up is announced and available in the fall.

Due in anytime! Pictures are of 18' rods pushing 3 oz weights with 300 bandits. 2 of the rods were prototypes, 2 rods had the B n M info on the rod. I'm supposed to know the day they arrive, I'm waiting on some 16's and 18's myself.
