Do you tie your jig direct to the line, or use some type of fast snap?

I used to tie directly to the line, but lately I have started using the loop knot. I use 20lb braid on all my jigging poles alot more sensitive than mono to me!

i use braid sometime on deeper fish its definitely more sensitive. if they are shallow i just seem to do better with mono. i know its a whole nother discussion but when fish are shallow or in super clear water i do think they get a bit line shy.

I fish grenada lake mostly so clear water is rarely a issue haha

I only use Stren mono while single poling and always try to buy 6lb test. I tie directly to the jig to ensure it hangs vertically and check my knot very frequently...

I use 8# Stren Hi vis, and tie to line. I sometimes use 20/8# braid but use a leader. Both work great.
