    No need to add weight.. Just put two 1/8 oz. inline. ( need to know the right knots ) If you need to run shallow use one. I use 10 lb. line at 1 mph all the way up to 1.6 with 70-110 feet of line out and the bait runs 8-10 ft. Some of the imitator baits don't run true when inline like a RR does. We also use planer boards with RR for walleye. A lot of the little tricks we use for Walleye has been used with great success for Crappie.
