    Default Camping?

    Hey Guys
Is there a campground or primitive camping area close to the Skuna River end of Grenada? Hugh White is incredible but I like the Skuna River area. Got some time off and want to introduce my grandson to some camping and fishing.

The north abutment campground at the mouth of the river is one of the nicest I have stayed in...with low water you will not be able to use the ramp. But a nice campground.

Water level and what ramps can be used would be my first question. Get in a campground close to the ramp. Check the Grenada lake website through the COE since some grounds close at different times of the year. #1 North Abutment like Don said. #2 North Graysport campground would put you south of Gums crossing.

Skuna-Turkey creek looks pretty good. Anyone know if the ramp is usable there? Would like boy to learn you don't need amenities to enjoy outdoors
