I didn't think the tourney did bad at all, 5 fish weigh-in limit and it took 7.49 to win it, that a 1.5 lb average.

Everyone had left when I took out. Just going by what the lady said at the bait shop. I was using straight minnows. I tried jigs with minnows and just minnows last week and could only catch on just minnows. Guess I should have tried jigs. I got a lot to learn.

Me too, fished 2 days and caught one on a straight minner, everything else was on a minner teaser tip with a minner, color really didn't seem to matter they just wanted the color.
The lady in the bait shop sure don't know how to talking up no business, ole Mike would have been talking about how awesome it was!!!!
