Since you're the "Oil Man", you can afford the 16' PST's AND a set of the C&C tips for them. Two sets of rods with just an extra set of tips. Best rod for pushing minnows

Bill, like the idea of PST with CC tips for light bites. What about a BGJP tip on PST? Would that also work?? Thanks

Ge BGJP TIP won't fit the PST mid section.

The C&C tip doesn't hang much different than the PST tip on the PST 16' poles with 1/2 oz weights. The C&C tip is much softer tho and has more give when a fish hits it before it loads up to the spine. Yikes bought the C&C tips for his PST's and said it gives him a pole that is very similar to the Southern Crappie poles. He has both and would be a good source to ask about that comparison.

I just like the BnM stuff. They've been around a loooong time and will be here when these startup companies are gone. They are also Very generous and give to almost every crappie club in the country. Their customer service is second to none also.
