I Hate Catfish!

I'm always amazed at the slime they manage to build up on my line. Even the small critters like Erin is holding seems to encase the last 6 to 8 inches of the line in goo. Like they travel around in a force field of slime, been lucky so far hadn't caught one bigger than a couple pounds so far, I rough house them to the boat. Had a few bigguns break me off though, I suspect kitty's if not big daggum drum

I hate slimers!! They don't even make it over the gunnel of my boat. The big pair of needle nose pliers takes care of most.

If I didn't know better I'd say that was the same one that got me. But if I remember right, and I'm pretty certain I do, he wasn't swimming the last time I saw him.

Despite the slimer incident, I had a good outing.

Water temp was 85-86. Fish were 10' deep on drop offs in 12-14 FOW and they were nailing the bait. Best color was black bubblegum. Big fish hit a red craw.

Debbie gets sick everytime she eats catfish, so they go back in the water for someone else.
