Finally back home and got out to the lake to see how all this new water is looking. The pearl is ripping right now, lots of current and mud in the lake. Couldn't find decent water all morning, or a bite for that matter haha. Finally found a pocket of clean water after lunch and it was the ticket. Scratched out a limit by 4. Females still seem to be holding deep. Caught some nice black crappie up shallow though.

Yeah, it's been coming down all morning down here on the bay. Can't get too much muddier lol. I'm going to try and get out after I finish my honey-do's. I've got my daughters birthday tomorrow but I'll be out there Sunday and next week too.

Not yet, but I was thinking the same thing. I live by the Waterwood ramp and talked to a couple of guys who were loading up. They had some very good things to say, and some live wells to back it up... Tommy's will be a zoo tomorrow.
