    Default Power poles?

Any of you guys use power poles? Are they worth the investment? How well do they work in wind?

Only time I've been around them is red fishing in LA. They are great for holding steady to cast. Price is about twice what I think they are worth. Wouldn't mind having a manual pole for jig fishing

I wouldn't fish tournaments without em. They are a lifesaver. But 2000$ won't touch em.

I added a 12' minn kota talon this year. Went with the talon because of the extra depth, is electric, and deploys close to the boat. It's expensive too, the mounting gear is in addition to the talon. The power pole requires a hydraulic pump for each side. Have effectively locked down in 10 fow. Heard good stuff about the power pole too.
