    Default Grenada report

Well the day started out slow I was on the water at 7 am, pretty morning foggy and cold. I fished from 7 till almost 11 before I found my first crappie, It was all catfish till then. From 11 to 3 I managed 13 keepers with my biggest just shy of 15". Most were caught in 8' of water about 4' deep. I did however manage a few in some shallower water. Plus I hooked about a 10 - 15 pound catfish on a jig pole, now that was some excitement haha Overall it was a great day on the water.

Good job, we fished out there yesterday morning. We we're on the lake at 6:30am didn't find any fish until about 8:30 pushing jigs thru the timber. It seemed like after about 10:30am they stopped biting for us, then we started catching a lot of big spawning female of the white bass variety. Not what we we're looking for but those big whites are fun to catch on ultra light tackle. Had a good time and brought home a few crappie for the dinner table

Thanks for the report! I was beginning to wonder when the reports would start on Grenada. Glad to hear there is some action to be had. I'd be happy to run into a few fat white bass, especially if the crappie are tough for us this weekend.
