    Default Pickwick Valentines.

Snuck off Sunday afternoon to Pickwick. It was tough fishing. The water was 43 degrees. Ended up with a few good fish. The yellow stripe are plentiful/terrible up there this year. I must have caught 50 of those rascals. Crappie were deep to me for pickwick. 18 to 24 feet deep in 28 to 35 feet of water. Hope the warm days coming up will improve things.

    Looks good.
If those yellow bass would get 3 or 4 times bigger there would be a big fight.

The yellow bass are not bad. Taste similar to white bass. Maybe not as strong/oily as white bass, less red meat on yellow bass than on white bass. Yellow bass tend to be a smaller fish though.
