    Default Grenada trip!


    Went yesterday and had a great time fishing with my son. Caught 13 with just 2 being over 12. Most were 11 to 113/4 which is a heartbreaker to have to throw back. 6ft deep 12-15 foot of water. About 50/50 jigs to minner. Thanks to Rees for helping us out with info. Weird thing we caught first 9 fish off left front corner of boat. Which lucky enough is my side. Lol. All wasn't good though we had a trailer flat leaving the ramp. Still trying to figure out how the valve stem went missing. Did see herd of 7 deer swimming across the lake and 1 other alone doing the same. They were running deer dogs everywhere. question for you all that run dogs? Why do they paint numbers on the side of the dogs ?All in all great day.felt great just to be on the water.
    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

    National Field Trials this week, running fox. Glad yall had a good trip.
    Numbers on the dogs is to identify them so the judges and everyone knows who's dog is doing what.

    I knew something was going on. Sure had the deer running!
    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

    This is not a good idea, the guy that got a ticket the other day for a bunch of short fish will be getting off easy compared to what the fine for a snagged deer would be!!!!!!
