Wow,,, double WOW! Y'all won't believe who just called me .... I sent Lews a letter with my concerns of my signature series Wally Marshall crappie rods having no tips available and that perhaps in the near future they would follow the trend and get some tips available for their products,, Well, Not only did I get a quick response,,,, Mr crappie himself calls me and offers me some information on where to get the new tips I needed...The man himself took care of business the Old fashion way and helped me with getting what I needed.... I can't believe the awesome customer service I got from Lews and Mr Wally Marshall,,, My thoughts of changing companies and worries about their products are gone,,, I am one happy camper, But I still need a storage system so this won't happen every time I go fishing,,,, three Thumbs up to Wally and.the crew at Lews!.. I am amazed and overwhelmed.....

I've picked up maybe a million tops for rods over the years. But rod tips vary. The last tip I broke B&M would ship me a replacement for $47 for a $12 rod.

I need to go out on Malone rd and get the address and phone number for the place that sells utility poles just north of the stateline.
Give me your address and I'll come by and see what you need to make you a rod rack.

I just fixed mine myself. I cut a small section from the 2 pieces to where they just would slide into one another about a inch and a half and then glued it good inside. It will probably last longer than a new one as I am just starting to try a lot of new ways to fish pulling pushing and who knows whats next.
Be safe and good luck fishing

Takeum, I have the same style boat (Ranger Reata) and was thinking about this the other day. Do you think you could mount a Driftmaster Tip-saver style horizontal rack above the passenger side windscreen with the rear rack on the rear deck? The rear mount might be 3' tall.
Either way, please post pix of what you end up doing cause I'll need to do something with my boat as well.

Off set stands to put the rack slightly over the side of the boat..... m EZ can do it but you would probably have to take your boat to his house at Madison to get it done as it would be a custom one .
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I will second your appreciation of Lews customer service.I lost the tip of a Walley Marshall signature rod and was totally satisfied with how they treated me.Shipping is usually the deal breaker just like canebreaker said .But Lews sent me the tip for less than half of what canebreaker was talking about.Excellent company to do business with.
