Thats not entirely accurate, if you are "trolling" with the big motor then no, if you are idling around at the boat ramp then yes.

Have to find it but in the regs for the COE there is a statement at the end of them that allows for you to take them off while fishing if the boat is over 16 foot.

I looked and on the Grenada page it does not saying anything about an exception for trolling, your are correct Goodtime.

On the phone now with coe and mdwfp getting clarification

Per enid lake field office, even if you are at idle, you must have a PFD ON, only time you can take it off is boats over 16ft with main motor shut off.

So I should be good with my 60hp yamaha off and trolling with my 4hp suzuki kicker.

Thanks,guess I'll have to wear it,think it was 2008 when I fished Sardis with biggerjigger and we didn't wear them when we were trolling with the big motor.
