Feesh is dead on. BE CAREFUL in the stumps near oil well. When they raised the water level, alot of the rebar is right at or just under the water. I Idle, then take it out of gear, Idle more and take it our of gear. I try to stay about 1-1 1/2 MPH no more when going through the stuimps I know hold the rebar. It may take me 5-10 more minutes to get to my fishing spot but I'd rather do that than tear up my boat

I remember when they first started requiring a launch fee at the Pelehachie bay ramp back in the 1980's. I though there would be loud public protests...but it went quietly.
