Any day on the lake fishing is a good day. I think rain may give you break in the morning and until late afternoon. The warmer weather is also a plus. Now how and where I don't know but I would think they would be in mid to shallow water just a guess. Others here that fish the "Dink Hole" may be able to tell you more. But the ones that others caught there that I have seen on this site are not what I would call Dinks.
