Default How and where to troll double minnow rigs?

I've got my spyderloks mounted up front ready to troll and all my rods rigged with double minnow rigs....how slow should I troll them? And do y'all troll just open flats and catch fish or do I need to find structure to troll over and make passes back and forth through structure ?

Right now look for transitional areas between deep water and spawning areas. Usually on the deep water side they will be holding waiting to move up. Stump fields a little deeper than spawning territory are also good. Run the baits a little above the structure or weave in and out. Creek mouths are where I would start looking and work my way shallower. From .2-.8, zig-zag and see if the inside(slower deeper) or outside (faster shallower) get bit and adjust accordingly. I would keep it below .5 though

slow or fast anywhere and everywhere it depends on the pattern the time of year and what the fish are doing pre spawn spawn and post spawn then you got your summer and fall a lot of it is just knowing what the fish are doing year round I guess learning there habits and why they do what they do is key I mainly single pole fish so maybe someone who spider rigs more than me will chime in as I am still a rookie at it good luck and good fishing to you!!!
