    Thought wild hogs season was 365 days a year 24 hours a day with NO caliber restriction?????? Also I happen to agree with the transport law, remember a time when they were being moved and released hense the law. Also the permit costs NOTHING and can be obtained 24 hours a day, pretty sure this is for slaughter purposes.
    Public land may be different, sure it is but I NEVER hunt public ground so I just dont try to keep up with all that crap.
    Personal opinion is that a gun is not the solution to the hog problems, you cant kill em out, trapping them seems to help more but takes a lot of time and dedication.
