    Has anyone tried the new Minn Kota Ulterra? Just wondering if its worth the extra money? Any reviews?????

    For me....the automatic deploy and stow would be worth it

    No doubt G, specially in the winter time when 3 are in the boat with a bunch of clothes on and such. Looked at it at Greenville at the Crappie Masters National Championship and it was awesome. Heck, in the summer months I wouldn't even go to the front of the boat except getting in and out. Too, in ruff water situations the troller can do its thing till the outboard is cranked and everyone is set, gonna be a major factor I think.

    Deploying the terrova forces me to get way out on the nose of my small decked xpress h51and lean way down. Bad balance and this position is tough. Ulterra would be a godsend.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

    Wife wont let me have both motors. If fact she may even hit the fan if she ever found out I swapped em out. I told her i got my boat EXACTLY rigged like I wanted, and now i realize that isnt true. lol. She will never know thought!!! hahaha

    I'll have one on my boat sometime this spring. I've had a couple close calls on rough days stowing my Terrova.
