I'm not sure, the water temp was 85, there was a lot of bait up near the surface, we caught them all 2' down from 4-9 fow. Sure was fun catching em on short lines, they would take off like a shot!

Using jigs with Slater's nibbles. We tried the berkley nibbles and the Slater's out fished them 4-1. First time trying the Slater's nibbles and they seemed to stay on for multiple fish, they are a little more gummy than the other nibbles, and they SURE smell louder! Without nibbles at all you might as well have been fishing in your bathtub

Did catch 3 keepers pulling a single 1 1/2 inch tiny chrome crankbait just playing around

Nice report and GREAT catch. It is fun catching them shallow. I've never seen Slaters nibbles but will now check them out. Thanks for the tip.
