Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

In all fairness you need to go back another year. Just cycling through like they have done for the last 30 years I have been fishing em.

There in the lake. Gotta find them. 2013 was unbelievable. Don't see another year like it unless we have another 2012. Catch 120 a day and go home with 10 keepers.

Oh yes a lot of skinny 11". Every now and then I will run up on some good 13's. if you find big fish you better not move to far. Some days are better than others. These last two weekends I've seen better.

I know that Okatibbee has a lot more dinks this year. It's nothing to catch 100 or more when pulling cranks for 5 hrs. Out of that, you do good to have 20 fish over 11 inches. Maybe it's the product of an awesome spawn a few years ago. We still get a few nice 15 or 16 inch fish but the dinks will work your butt off.
