You know you are getting senile when you forget to empty the minnows out of your bucket. Went to use mine the other day and had minnow soup !!! What can I use to clean the bucket out without killing new minnows?

Wait until you put some fresh filets up (bagged and in a Tupperware sealed container) in a kitchen cabinet and then leave town for the week.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Put water in it along with dish washing detergent and clorox. Wash it out. Place a piece of aluminum foil in the bottom with left over coffee grounds on it and replace the lid. The next morning take the grounds out and let it sun dry. Good to go. We do that to take 4 day old bait shrimp out of coolers that ran out of ice.
