I think that's a good move. At 82-84 degrees, I think the water needs to warm up some to make em bite the cranks better. Might try slowing down some on the cranks like Tommy did to win the championship.Quote:

You do not have to go fast to catch them. Depends on what the fish want that day. I have caught them going so slow that when a big one would hit it would nock the pole completely straight/slack them the pole would load back up. I do alot of pulling from 1.2 - 1.6. Take note if the fish are inhaling the bait or are you pulling them in barely hanging on by one hook.
