The Off Shore's handle rough water the best - as well as pulling heavy items like bottom bouncers, Bandit 300's etc. Made in America, Father and Son ran company (they are the ones that answer the emails and questions from anglers) and sponsors of this site.

Them are the same boards that Doug is talkin about. Optis only with Cabelas name on them and a higher price.

Tommy, got a question. What type and size line do you use pulling these boards?

Ether opti tackle boards are cheep knock offs of off shore tackle and they are made in China where patents don't apply. Off shores are made in Michigan where I live and the owner is a super nice guy and fisherman just like us. I have seen the opti stuff in the north woods store and the price is tempting but I can get over the fact that they copied the off shore board and made it a lot cheaper out of creeper material
Three quarters of the Earth's surface is water, and one quarter is land. It is quite clear that the Lord intended us to spend three times the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn

I used off shore boards in 3 1/2 footers over the weekend and they did just fine

I prefer a dual planer and mast setup, especially if you are pulling two or more wide.

what happens to the board when you hook up??? what keeps it on the line?? Either it releases or it stays put. Which?
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
