This weekend is annual family gathering near Bay Springs Lake....never crappie fished there before, always green carp. Any pointers for crappie would be appreciated. Again, this is 1-1.5 days only so not trying to steal any hotspots and won't be back for a year, just point in general direction. Boat is set up for trolling bandits....and will have couple 14-yr old boys with me.
I can look it up, but also, what are regs for Bay Springs, # poles?, limit #, length limit? is it same as state-wide, 10" MLL?
any help would be appreciated, thank you

creel limit is 30 per person, crappie have to be over 9".....pm blacklandlure, he pulls cranks up there, he could tell you about the number of poles, etc.....we always cast for crappie up there in the spring and this time of year we anchor down over deep water tops with minners, so I don't know the regs about number of poles etc.....
We didnt pull cranks but we did single poling, I can tell you that the fish we caught came out of 30ft of water holding very tight to the structure, we put in at McDougal Branch ramp is about all I can tell you about where we were, I have only fished there 3 times and not familiar with anywhere other than that area. Good luck to you !!
