    Default Sardis this past weekend

Fishing was pretty slow and the wind and rain didn't help matters much. Did manage to pick up a couple of nice crappie. We kept six saturday and 5 sunday all between 12 and 14 inches and we also caught about a dozen white bass between 15 and 16 inches. The lake was pretty rough so we just drifted minnows around engineers point about 7 feet deep.

I managed to take a couple of pics before my phone died, really got to get a charger socket put in my boatName: 1400335209450.jpg

Nice fish. I use a socket with battery clips to charge my phone in the boat. Bought it for using a spotlight, but works for the phone too.

    Thanks

We were hoping to get a few catfish but didn't get a single one. We tried around the strip of rocks out from engineers point and we usually can get quite a few fishing minnows around those rocks but didn't get a one. Depth finder was showing surface temps near 70 so i figured they should be there. Maybe needs to warm up a bit more.

Has anyone else had any luck with catfish around there.
