    Mary Ann!!! As for the crappie, I think it's already been hit on, but it's about confidence. I'll catch 'em on the same top with the same jig. Specks do seem to be thicker and in my experience they seem to be a little deeper. As for color, I'd say any black/chartreuse combination, but another guy might say blue/white, pink/chartreuse, etc. Use whatever you're confident in.

    I would think the only difference is going to be in the location of the fish as some are going to hold to one type cover or terrain and the other is going to be more interested in a different type.
