    Default Big White Crappie

Could some of you fella's please tell me a good color for catching white crappie. Where I live most crappie are black crappie, but there are a few whites. I never have any luck catching the whites. I was wondering maybe there is a color that works better. Thank Ya'll....

Think its just a matter of finding them and what the population is on your lake. I started my annual crappie fishing on my lake in december and stopped in march and have a freezer full of crappie and i only caught one white crappie in the entire bunch. I may be crazy but on my lake I'd rather have a black crappie, seem to be meater to me

I catch blacks and whites on the same stuff. Black crappie seem to be more cover oriented and whites seem to like open water more than blacks depending on the phase of the spawn when they all go to cover.
