of catching a fish after all this rain? I really want to try Eagle tomorrow after lunch but hate to burn the fuel if all the fish drowned. My resident old timer tells me it takes 3 days for the fish to bite after a big rain.Guess my question is does rain affect the bite on big bodies of water? I doubt it got muddy.

some places wont muddy up, they will just rise. ifn you know where such places are you can usually catch fish there even after a big rain. As the lake itself rises the lake water, now muddy from the rivers, will muddy these places, takes a day or two. Will put it to a test tomorrow and hope I am right, Nader has been pretty tuff anyway, am sure this wont help it any.

I would think because it takes that long for the run off to collect.Eagle does not get that much run off. I was gonna stay close and fish my little 100ac lake but it has come up over 4 ft.
