    Default Teckville Ramp

can you use this ramp right now? With the lake level at 249.2, the website shows the lower end of the ramp at 255.

Yes. There are five ramps. That's the high water ramp.

    Default Teckville Ramp

Better make that 300. Heard last week of hour and a half wait in line. Should bs a sign saying "Have your S#IT ready when you back Dow the ramp". Too many back down and block the ramp then start loading the boat.

I've been launching from Tekville the last few times I've gone. I get there in the afternoon so I can't tell you what the mornings are like. They have a fairly tight two-lane ramp that drops into a very shallow and narrow channel. The water has come up some but make sure you have your motor trimmed up or your prop will be eating a lot of mud. I hear the line to launch in the morning can get pretty long. Parking is pretty creative at Tekville...I've seen trailers parked everywhere...on the mud next to the ramp, on the rip-rap, on the ramps that are dry...everywhere they can stick a truck and trailer basically. And make sure you have all of your license/boat registration stuff squared away...game wardens have been on the Tekville ramp like buzzards on a carcass. They are nice, they are professional, but they are there for a reason...just make sure everything is squared away and you'll have no surprises.

Long launch line ,muddy parking area, and shallow water to right of ramp be careful. Pats Bluff nicer if u don't mind the ride up the lake!

MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT THEY WERE DOING WITH ALL THE TIME WAITING ?
