Default Rez 3/25/14. No boat required

Woke up Tuesday morning to the wind howling too bad to fish the main lake. Thought about going upriver, but I had an idea. Broke out the insulated waders and thought I would give it a go. Threw my 11' rear seated BnM Buck's Custom, rigged with a single jig, and my 8' BGJP, rigged with a slip cork, into the truck and headed out around the lake. I wanted to see how successful I could be w/o a boat. Walked out onto a few shallow flats and single poled around the structure and the worked the first drop off with the slip cork. Nothing huge, but put together a limit with a few slabs mixed in. Orange head w/ black chartreuse + a nibble was the ticked today.
