Yeah, I live on Pelahatchie Bay and have several areas I would like to try but it is gator city over here. I haven't seen any behind my house yet so I figured I would give it a go before the water warmed up and they came out of there winter holes. Plus, I haven't ever seen many on the main lake unless you get over behind the islands. I was over by the duck blind above fannin landing. That flat is so far out in the lake, gators never make it out there.

Are you talking about the flat that all the boats park at the overlook?

Nah, Fannin is across the lake. On the other sided of the causeway over P Bay.
