Default Spider rigging in the wind

Last week I was fishing a flat and I saw lots of schools crossing under me on my graph. This got me to wondering if I could be successful by just anchoring on one spot with my spider rig setup instead of trolling with it. I thought it might be a good tactic to try in the wind…the motion of the boat rocking around would put a lot of action on the bait.

I've done it striper fishing and it worked like a champ. What do you think? Anyone do this?

How deep was this flat? The flat i've been fishing the past few days is only 4.5 ft deep. The transducer is about two ft under the water so it is showing 1.7-2.7 ft deep...the cone area is gonna be inches.I would say stay mobil...the fish are kinda scattered.
