    X2. If you use the drift socks in open water, that's the way to go. You don't disturb the bottom in shallow water by muddying it up. In the timber, it's time for the chains.

    How are you guys fishing that you need to drag chains. Never seen anyone doing this. They for slowing down or something. I long line and usually can go slow enough when needed.

    If your coming down 55 stop a Grizzly jig in Hayti Mo. They gonna have any thing you need but chain. And they may even have some of that. If getting socks get at least 1 65 or 77. If you don't need them at home then what the guys said about chain is yor best deal.

    Don't go to Hayti for G.Jigs....they be in Caruthersville. Goin south on I-55 go LEFT to get to Caruthersville, RIGHT takes you to Hayti. No, No, No.....

    Learned about the front at Washington and luckily didn't catch on anything at Grenada going about 23 mph
